Kandy is a major city in Sri Lanka with deep historical roots, nature charms, and cultural significance. It is located about 115 km northeast of Colombo in the heart of the central province at an elevation of 500 meters above sea level. All year-round Kandy is a beautiful destination to visit; but between December to April, it is pleasant and dry.
